Treatments

Once you have been formally assessed by Mr. Scurr, we will discuss the treatment options with you. These include wearing elastic stockings, injection treatment or surgery. Early varicose veins can be managed very successfully by injection treatment.

If you have problems with larger veins or veins that are filling due to valve issues, then either surgery or foam sclerotherapy under ultrasound control is usually required. We will always discuss the options with you, clearly explain the procedures and the next steps.
